About Me:

Hello! My name is Alicia (“uh-lee-sya” – listen to this video if you’re still unsure) and I am a Latinx book blogger who loves talking books. I’m passionate about promoting diverse reads and particularly those written by Latinx authors. This blog focuses mainly on YA, but I occasionally pick up Adult and Middle Grade novels as well. A Kernel of Nonsense was created as a general blog first, but quickly evolved into a book blog (of course). You can follow me on several different platforms (see sidebar). I am also a cohost for the Latinx Book Club, a Twitter-based club dedicated to reading books by Latinx authors. You can find our website here.
