Top Ten Tuesday: Latinx-Owned Bookstores

Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is Favorite Bookstores OR Bookstores I’d Love to Visit.” Since it is Latinx Heritage Month, I thought I would highlight bookstores that are Latinx-owned for this topic. It’s a great time to shop indie and support both Latinx authors and Latinx-owned bookstores!

1. Boogie Down Books

2. Booklandia

3. The Bookmark

4. The Bronx Is Reading

5. Cafe Con Libros

6. Duende District

7. LibroMobile

8. The Lit. Bar

9. Mija Books

10. Third House Books

Are you familiar with any of these bookstores? Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave me a link to your own TTT post, so I can visit!

  1. I love how you’ve tied in this week’s topic to Latinx Heritage month! 😃 I haven’t heard of any of these but if I ever make it to that side of the world again, I’d definitely be keen to support them. Great list!

  2. I love this! 😀 I need to be better at deciding where my money goes. I often just choose what’s most convenient which is Amazon. I do love supporting my local independent bookstore as well. If I ever go to some of these locations with diversely-owned shops, I’ll definitely check them out and support them! 😀 Thanks for the amazing list.
