Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is “Most Anticipated Books Releasing In the Second Half of 2022.” I am doing this post last minute because I just discovered that I in fact only made it in my head. I could have sworn I put it together but it was just a figment of my imagination. So here I am, trying to comfort my dogs during this barrage of fireworks and putting this post together as best I can. I know I left off a bunch, but I running out of brain power, so am limiting this list to fifteen. Covers linked to Goodreads.
1. The Daughter of Doctor Moreau by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
2. Godslayers by Zoe Hana Mikuta
3. Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen
4. The Oleander Sword by Tasha Suri
5. Babel by R.F. Kuang
6. The Weight of Blood by Tiffany D. Jackson
7. House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson
8. Direwood by Catherine Yu
9. How to Succeed in Witchcraft by Aislinn Brophy
10. Jackal by Erin E. Adams
11. Love from Mecca to Medina by S.K. Ali
12. Even Though I Knew the End by C.L. Polk
13. Tread of Angels by Rebecca Roanhorse
14. Pride and Protest by Nikki Payne
15. A Seed in the Sun by Aida Salazar
Do you have any of these on your TBR as well? Are you adding any? Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave me a link to your own TTT post, so I can visit!
How did I not have Tread of Angels on my radar?

I just came across it a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t heard anyone mention it.

You did well to remember those! I had to do a lot of research this week and finally managed to scrape together my list.
I particularly like the look of Pride and Protest! That is going on my list of things to read!
Have a great week!

Great list! I actually forgot that Love from Mecca to Medina was coming out this year or else it would have definitely been on my list.

I think it’s flown a little under the radar. I only recently realized it was an upcoming release.

I’ve preordered both Babel and Violet Made of Thorns, so I am very excited. Pride and Protest is currently flying under the radar, but I am always on board for a P&P retelling.

I hope your dogs weren’t too stressed, mine gets full on panic attacks from fireworks so it’s quite distressing when it’s a big celebration day. I forgot about loads of books I am excited about…when I remember they exist that is.
I think Babel sounds excellent.

They were very stressed, but I’m just thankful it’s over. One of my dogs spent the entire time in my closet, so I sympathize with you! I just know Babel is going to be a good one.

Babel has popped up on a few different lists this week. I hope it’s good.
And your poor dogs. I’m sorry they were so scared. 😦

I love the title The Weight of Blood. I read an adult thriller with that title years ago and it was so good. I hope this one is just as good!

Poor doggos! Our neighbors were letting off some incredibly loud ones last night! Made me jump every time. I can just imagine what the poor pups in the neighborhood were experiencing. Yikes.
I hope you enjoy all these books.
Happy TTT!
