Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is “Books I Wish Had An Epilogue.” I’m a greedy reader and I don’t just want an epilogue, I want more books in these universes! Covers linked to Goodreads.
1. Sands of Arawiya by Hafsah Faizal
2. Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
3. The Books of Ambha by Tasha Suri
4. Iron Cast by Destiny Soria
5. Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson
6. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas
7. Sal & Gabi by Carlos Hernandez
8. Brooklyn Brujas by Zoraida Córdova
9. Race to the Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse
10. The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water by Zen Cho
Have you read any of these books/series? Would you like to see more from these authors in these particular worlds? Let me know in the comments and be sure to leave me a link to your own TTT post, so I can visit!
I absolutely agree a well crafted fantasy world demands more novels, not just an epilogue! Amd Zen Cho surely knows how to name a book!
This is my list of books that could have an epilogue.

The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water has one of my favorite titles.

Race to the Sun does have a sequel! But so much yes to The Order, Cemetery Boys, Sorcery of Thorns and Iron Cast.

Wait, it does? Why don’t I know about this?!

I only saw it in passing recently and was super surprised as well. It hasn’t been pushed at all

Great list. I’m like you, for my favorite books I want more than epilogues, I want novellas and sequels. That’s why I love series so much and really get frustrated when there’s no epilogue. And don’t get me started on open-endings with no epilogues…😂

Yes, I want more, an epilogue just won’t suffice.

These look interesting. I haven’t read any of them! I know what you mean when sometimes an epilogue just isn’t enough.
Have a great week!

I love Zen Cho’s writing style, so unique, poetic. I’ve read her The Terracotta Bride, and know about Sorcerer and the Crown — your pick has such a great title. *off to check the blurb*

I still need to read a few more of her books, but everything of hers I’ve picked up have been phenomenal.

I don’t think I’ve heard of most of these. I’m sure there are books where I would want to revisit their worlds, but I can’t think of one at the moment.

I know several people have already said this, but there is going to be a follow up novella to Sorcery of Thorns, so you’re getting your wish on at least one of these!
