Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is “Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers.” I would like to start a petition to have publishers commission more yellow book covers. I just love how bright these books are, but I realized while making this list that I didn’t own too many books with yellow covers which is a shame because look how lovely they are together. Covers are linked to Goodreads.
If you are able, please consider donating to 805 Undocufund here which is providing support for families during this pandemic who aren’t currently eligible for stimulus checks.

Great list! I love the cover of Grown so much, and I totally agree about yellow covers–publishers need to put more yellow on their books.

I have a bookcase that’s shelved like a rainbow so I have at least one shelf of yellow books! They are the hardest to find though.

How lovely! I almost did this based on yellow spines but still difficult to find.

I am trying to think of a light green cover at the top of my head and I can’t. I definitely wouldn’t mind see like mint green covers.

I’m not really a big fan of yellow book covers, I’m just not a fan of yellow as a colour, so I’m less likely to buy books with that colour cover.

Interesting. I don’t have too many qualms about particular colors, but I will definitely hold off on buying a book if I hate the cover.

If I don’t like the cover of a book I tend to get it on audio or e-book, that way it’s not part of my permanent collection!
