I could have sworn that I was flying through this book and that book this November, but when I went to look at my Goodreads shelf, it turns out I only read six books. Not terrible, but I could have sworn I was in the 8 or 9 number range. The most important thing is I started taking care of several ARCs I have on my TBR pile. I’ve already met my Goodreads goal for the year and am just trying to take care of some early 2020 ARCs so I’m not stressed in the new year. For December I will be one of the hosts for Latinx Book Club. We are reading The Resolutions by Mia Garcia and I hope you can join us!
(Book covers below are linked to my reviews, unless otherwise specified.)
Favorite Book This Month:
I am so torn between two five-star reads this month but am going with Realm of Ash because Tasha Suri deserves more recognition. Empire of Sand remains one of my favorite fantasies ever and Realm of Ash was a great companion novel that explored so many concepts that I love. My review for this one will be up in December. Cover linked to Goodreads.
Least Favorite Book This Month:
It breaks my heart to say that Woven in Moonlight by Isabel Ibañez was more disappointing than satisfying. I’m not sure if I will have a full review of this one.

Too bad about Woven in Moonlight, but the cover is gorgeous, and I’m sure it looks good on your real or virtual bookshelf. I am looking forward to reading Coyote by Owl Goingback this month. It’s a dark fantasy in which a coyote trickster spirit goes after a young woman and her father (grandfather maybe, can’t remember) because they are the last humans on the Earth’s Council.

I find reading six books in a month pretty amazing. 🙂 I’m so sorry to hear about Woven in Moonlight. I received an e-ARC and I’m hoping to read it this month.
Happy readings!

I kind of felt the same with the books I read in November too. I felt like I read more than I actually did. I think I may take a page out of your book and start on my early 2020 ARCs this month. I am really excited about reading Sal & Gabi. I hope you have an amazing December.

Sal and Gabi was so much fun. If I get a chance, I’m going to write a review because I need more people to read it. Thank you, you too!

congrats on meeting your goodreads challenge! Now sounds like a great time to knock out some of those 2020 ARCs. I’m still trying to chip away at my GR challenge, I hope I can make it this month.

Your books have such pretty covers. I have one more ARC to read for the year and then I need to start working on 2020, but I’ve been reading Christmas stories. See what I read in November at Girl Who Reads

I requested Woven in Moonlight and have an ARC headed my way. I’m disappointed to read that you didn’t enjoy it–I hope I like it, but now I’m not sure. December is almost over and I’m reading my ARC of Reverie and it’s unlike anything I’ve read before and I feel lost inside most of the time reading it, as if I don’t have a clue what’s happening or who anyone is. Just weird and I’m hoping the last half of the book will make things clearer. Happy holidays!

I hope you enjoy Woven more than I did and that Reverie ended up a better read for you. Happy holidays!
