Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. and is currently being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is “Freebie (create your own topic).” Freebie week is always fun because I love seeing all the different topics other blogger’s choose. For freebie week, I am sharing ten authors I wish were more popular in the blogging community because I am in serious need of fangirling time. If you’ve read any of these authors and love them as much as I, let me know in the comments. We’ll probably become instant friends. Covers are linked to Goodreads.
1. Lily Anderson
2. Tiffany D. Jackson
3. Courtney Alameda
4. Silvia Moreno-Garcia
5. Rhoda Belleza
6. Zen Cho
7. Elizabeth May
8. Destiny Soria
9. Margaret Rogerson
10. Lilliam Rivera
Are you a fan of any of these authors’ works? Which author do you wish more people in the community read and loved? Leave me a link to your own TTT post in the comments, so I can visit.
I seem to remember seeing “Not Now, Not Ever” around back when it was a new release, but I don’t remember what it was about; it sure LOOKS cute though! Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s books are some I spy on lists now and again; they always stand out because of their striking covers. I’ve also been meaning to add ‘Ravens’ to my Amazon cart during one of my book shopping sprees, but so far, I haven’t. 🙂

It’s a contemporary inspired by Oscar Wilde’s hilarious play The Importance of Being Earnest and it is a gem. Love Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s covers as well. I loved An Enchantment of Ravens, but haven’t come across may other bloggers who loved it just as much.

Pitch Dark looks like a trip and I’ve sen a review or two here and there popping up- kinda curious about that one! I wanted to read the Falconer series too and never did…

I really enjoyed Pitch Dark and will be keeping a closer eye on the author as a result. If you get a chance, The Falconer is great.

Zen Cho ❤ But you already knew that. And while I wasn't as happy with Pitch Dark as I had hoped I really liked Shutter and Courtney Alameda is for sure on my constant radar. 😀

Whenever I think of Sorcerer to the Crown, I think of you. How funny, I wasn’t as happy with Shutter, but loved Pitch Dark. Yes, I am keeping my eye on Courtney Alameda from now on.

I’m a Tiffany D. Jackson fan. My friend and I read Allegedly together. I enjoy unreliable narrators. Margo Sanchez has been on my TBR for a minute.

Allegedly is one of those books that makes you mad that some people don’t see literature as an art form. Yes, I love a good unreliable narrator. Margot Sanchez was an impressive debut and I’d bummed more people haven’t read it.

I’ll have remedy that. Good thing I’m headed to the library today.

I loved this topic so much ahhh! It’s always great to be introduced to underhyped authors/books because there are some unacknowledged gems out there and that’s kinda sad aghh. I have The Falconer by Elizabeth May and have been contemplating if I should pick it up and after seeing her on this list it’s definitely inspired me to actually get to it at some point !! Lovely post 🙂

I definitely think you should pick up The Falconer. I still need to read the final book myself. Thanks!

Oooh, great topic! I have some authors/books I wish more people were talking about too. Did you see Bee @ Quite the Novel Idea is starting this Hidden Stars thing to highlight those books you wished more people were talking about. But anyhow, this list – Anderson is too fabulous and people are missing out of some nerdy greatness there, and Jackson’s books left me awestruck. It was amazing! I know I am eager to read her next book.

I did not see that. I will check it out! Yes, I’m even sad that it took me a year to find out about Lily Anderson’s The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You. Can’t wait for Monday’s Not Coming either!
