Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is “Ten Books With Fall/Autumn Covers/Themes (If the cover screams fall to you, or the books give off a feeling of being Fallish).” So I was looking through my shelves trying to find books that match the topic for this week and it was much harder than I thought it would be. I associate fall with changing leaves and dry weather (usually accompanied by wildfires) and I was trying to find covers that matched this association, but kept falling short. It occurred to me that one of my favorite fantasy author’s covers usually feel very autumn-y to me and so I’ve decided to share the covers of some of Juliet Marillier’s books that make me think of fall. Side note: if you haven’t read this author, what on earth are you waiting for? She’s one of the best fantasy authors I’ve ever read. Covers are linked to Goodreads.
Have you read Juliet Marillier? Let me know what you’re favorite novel by her is in the comments. Who’s your favorite fantasy writer? Let’s discuss in the comments and be sure leave a link to your own TTT post, so I can visit.
Somehow I have missed her work, but she is on my tbr. I do love looks of the covers.

I love Juliet Marillier. Although, I do have to admit that I prefer her Sevenwaters and Bridei series to all her other works, I still read her newer stuff.
I think her Bridei series may be my favorite, and I wish that she would do another series like it.
What about you? Which one’s your favorite?

I haven’t read her Bridei series yet, but I’m glad to hear you love it. I think Sevenwaters is my favorite. Son of the Shadows and Heir to Sevenwaters are tied for favs. I’m also partial to Wildwood Dancing. It was my first Marillier.

Daughter of the Forest was my first Marillier. I couldn’t get into Willowood Dancing, or the Grim series. I am reading her Caller series, though, if very slowly, lol

I still have to read the final Caller book, but a reread of the first two might be in order. I wasn’t a bug fan of the first Blackthorn and Grim, but may still continue the series out of curiousity.
