I took a deep breath. “My parents are dating.”
She pursed her lips. “That’s okay, right? I mean, they’ve been divorced for a long time now. You had to figure that they would eventually start–“
I held up my hand to stop her… “My parents are dating each other.”
The Start of Me and You is my first Emery Lord novel (thus continuing my contemporary kick) and I simply loved it. I’ve heard really good things about her other novels, which I’m planning to pick up soon. This one was a really sweet read that I’d recommend to everyone who loves reading about characters whose best laid plans all manage to go awry. My review can be found here.
