The Friday 56, #41: Sense and Sensibility

The Friday 56The Friday 56 is a weekly blog meme hosted by Freda’s Voice. Join in every Friday, the rules are simple.

Rules:
*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader.
*Find any sentence (or a few, just don’t spoil it) that grab you.
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post here in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url. It’s that simple.

“‘But indeed this is quite another thing. I am sure they will be married very soon, for he has got a lock of her hair.’

‘Take care, Margaret. It may be only the hair of some great uncle of his.'”

I love me some Jane Austen and I really need to reread Sense and Sensibility. I relate most to Austen’s protagonists Elizabeth and Elinor, both in humor and practicality.

  1. I haven’t read ‘Sense & Sensibility’ in ages because when I read it for the first time I somehow couldn’t connect to either character that much, but I’ve grown up a lot since then and Elinor is sounding more and more like me xD Also, Jane Austen is always good! Thanks for sharing 🙂 have a good weekend!
