Top Ten Tuesday is an original blog meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s prompt: “Top Ten Books I Really Want To Read But Don’t Own Yet.” I’m going to try not to list too many books that haven’t been released yet since in a few weeks we will be listing books we will read this fall and I am so excited about a whole lot of them. Many of the books I want to read are not necessarily ones I plan on buying, so half of these are books that I just plan to check out from the library very soon. So a more appropriate title is “Top Ten Books I Really Want to Read But Haven’t Gotten My Hands On Yet.”
Top Ten Books I Really Want To Read But Haven’t Gotten My Hands On Yet:
Which books are you eager to get your hands on?
I’m starting Midnight Thief today. 🙂 We Were Liars was a really unique read for me. And I guess it’s the kind of book where you either like it or don’t. I hope you’ll get to these books soon! 🙂

Oh, I’m so jealous. Everyone keeps talking about the twist in We Were Liars, so I’m anxious to find out what that is.

Isn’t the cover for Gates of Thread and Stone beautiful? I will probably check these out from the library before deciding to buy them.

I really loved The Sweet Far Thing, but the ending killed me… Don’t Look Back was sooo great, I was really happy to realize that Armentrout can write a good mystery too. And We Were Liars! One of the best books I’ve ever read. I hope you’ll enjoy all the books from your list. 🙂

Sounds like I should prepare myself before reading The Sweet Far Thing.

I’m very bad… I usually just one-click books I want the moment I want them. So my kindle is so full of books I haven’t read yet. I should really learn to be more patient 🙂
Great list!

That one-click option is dangerous. It’s just so easy!

I might die from the arrival of Heir of Fire and then die again when The Infinite Sea arrives.

The less-than-one-month countdown has begun for The Infinite Sea…it’s so close (I’m also hoping for a Vosch POV, maybe).

I’m only a little embarrassed to admit of dreamt of the series last night. It may be occupying my mind only a little.

That’s pretty sick (in the most awesome way possible).

I’ve really been wanting to get my hands on Don’t Look Back as well, because the only thing I’ve read by JLA so far is the Lux series, which I really enjoyed. I really liked We Were Liars but I do recommend checking it out from the library, because it’s so short!

Oh, good, I’m not the only one who considers the length of a book when deciding whether or not to buy it.

I definitely feel like I’m getting more for my money if it’s a longer book!

I just finished We Were Liars last week (got it on Amazon as an eBook for 99p – not sure if the deal is still on!), definitely worth a read. In fact, I kind of want to reread it right away to go back over parts of it, and bonus – it’s pretty short!
I also got The 5th Wave for 99p, must be some sort of deal on, and I’m looking forward to reading it. Bit disappointed it’s a series though, fancied a good standalone.
The Throne of Glass series, Gates of Thread and Stone and anything by JLA (to try her out) are on my TBR too.
TTT’s give me palpitations sometimes, all the great books! R x

Yes, I would love to read more standalone books. Series just take so much energy and can get expensive. Every TTT makes my TBR list grow and grow.

Oh, you have so many books on your list that I want to read! Both Throne of Glass books, Welcome to the Dark House, Gates of Thread and Stone, and Midnight Thief are all on my wishlists.
I really hope you love Don’t Look Back. I read it a few months ago, and it’s completely different (but in a good way) to anything JLA’s written before, I really like it. Hope you love them all when you read them 🙂

Don’t Look Back will only be my second JLA book and I enjoyed the first, so I hope this one turns out to be good as well.

I forgot about Don’t Look Back! I want to read that one and Midnight Thief and Dark House look pretty good. Really all your covers are gorgeous! Even without knowing what most of them are about I want to read them. I enjoyed We Were Liars. Hope you get to it soon!
