Author: Cristin Terrill
Series: All Our Yesterdays, #1
All Our Yesterdays is the kind of book that spends hours carving itself into you; so when you’ve finished, you’re sure its title is written somewhere on your body. There’s that bittersweet feeling left behind and the characters on the pages still feel very much alive inside of you: their wants, their desperation, the deep sadness of understanding still swirl inside like a great storm. You’re helplessly stuck but inexpressibly happy to have been moved.
I just now noticed this is only the first book in a series. I can’t imagine what can be added. In many ways I hope there isn’t a second because the story told is good enough and complete enough to stand on its own. What happened to stand alone novels? They’re becoming extinct. I miss the perfection found in a single volume and if this book was it, I would be satisfied.
